Councilwoman Thompson is the Council Liaison to the Police Department.
I have lived in Lincoln Park for the past 29 years with my daughter Carol Ann. I am married and my husband, Wayne, has two daughters, Amy and Rebecca. I am retired from the County of Passaic Finance Department, where I was employed as the Payroll Supervisor. During my employment with Passaic County, I served as the President of the Employee's Credit Union, secretary to the Employee Pension Fund, and Assistant to the Treasurer. I am and have been involved with many organizations in Lincoln Park. Currently, I am a member of the CERT team and of course, a Councilwoman. Some of the organizations I have served on are as follows:
- Lincoln Park First Aid Squad - I am a lifetime member, and during my 13 years as an active member on the squad I served as President, Vice-President and Treasurer.

- Lincoln Park Girl Scouts
- Lincoln Park Republican Club
