Become part of Lincoln Park's new CERT program. CERT is an acronym for Community Emergency Response Team.
The CERT program will partner Lincoln Park Emergency Services and the residents they serve. The goal is for emergency personnel to train residents, community organizations and businesses of Lincoln Park in basic response skills.
If a disaster occurs, such as a flood, and overwhelms or delays the community's professional response, CERT members can assist others by applying basic response and organizational skills that they learned during training.
CERT skills also apply to daily emergencies.
