Under Executive Order 190, Interest on Residential Delinquent Water Balances will be waived until March 15, 2021, unless extended by another Executive Order. Municipalities are prohibited against curtailing service for delinquent water balances on residential water accounts, due to nonpayment unless the disconnection is to prevent or ameliorate a risk to public health or safety, now through 18 months after the termination of the Executive Order declaring a pandemic emergency.

*This is based on usage of 17,000 gallons of water per quarter with an additional charge of $6 per 1,000 gallons in excess thereof.
NEW OPTION TO MAKE UTILITY PAYMENTS
The Borough of Lincoln Park, Tax Collector’s Office offers an ACH bank draft program (direct withdrawal) to our taxpayers. This service assures your payment will be received in a timely manner as well as providing a safe and secure way to pay your taxes and utility bill without the worry of mail delivery or coming in to pay in person.
Quarterly utility payments as billed (water bill amount varies based on your properties water consumption) will be debit from your CHECKING account on the payment due dates depending on your cycle as follows:
Cycle 1: February 10, May 10, August 10 and November 10.
Cycle 2: December 10, March 10, June 10 and September 10.
Cycle 3:
January 10, April 10, July 10 and October 10.
We do not draft from savings or equity accounts. You may enroll or cancel at any time, provided a completed authorization form is received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled draft dates.
If you would like to enroll in this program, please complete the entire authorization form (“Direct Withdraw Form”). Be sure to attach a voided check and mail it to the address on the form. Incomplete applications will delay enrollment.

No person shall obstruct free access to any public fire hydrant or open or close or draw water therefrom without permission, in writing, from the Department of Public Works and Utilities, except in case of fire, when the Chief of the Fire Department, his assistants and officers and members of the Fire Department shall have free access to the same for the purpose of extinguishing fires.
