Mission Statement/Objective
The Lincoln Park Police Athletic League was formed to help prevent or reduce juvenile delinquency by providing recreation and/or educational facilities for its youth members and a meeting place for them.
The Adult members and coaches will use personal example to teach sportsmanship and leadership to our youth.
History
In the near future, we would like to include the past history of the PAL, from the creation of the organization to the building of the PAL Community Center. Please let any of the board members know if you have anything to contribute about our past.
Scholarship
Scholarship - The Lincoln Park PAL awards three $500.00 scholarships annually to eligible students in their Senior Year of high school. Two general scholarships will be awarded, along with one Brett Cerullo Memorial Scholarship. The students must meet the established criteria and the awards are valid for one year only, the student’s first year of college. The Police Athletic League of New Jersey offers four $1,000 scholarships, one in each region of New Jersey.
