DPW - RECYCLING
Posted on: December 16, 2020[ARCHIVED] December 2020 Snowstorm

As a result of the anticipated snow storm the Governor has declared a State of Emergency. The Lincoln Park Public Works Department has been preparing for the severe weather and we are all well aware of how unpredictable a storm can be, but the staff is doing everything in their power to prepare the Borough for the heavy snowfall. Public Works will be staffed on split shifts throughout the storm so that roads will be plowed continuously. All equipment is operational and Public Works will be closely monitoring the conditions throughout the day and the evening. Please help Public Works to ensure efficient snow removal and PLEASE DO NOT park on streets/roadways, and when clearing snow from sidewalks and driveways DO NOT throw/shovel the snow back into the streets. Please remove garbage cans and portable basketball stands from the streets/roadways. During times of adverse weather, please expect disruption of garbage services and consider holding garbage for the next scheduled collection date. Please be patient with any road access issues, DPW will be working to have roads cleared as soon as practical. Your cooperation is essential in order for us to plow effectively. Please be safe and stay off the roads whenever possible. *For any non-emergency related issues call: 973-270-2058 (calls will be returned at our earliest convenience)*Emergency related issues ONLY call: Lincoln Park Police 973-694-5533
