FLOOD ADVISORY

The Lincoln Park Office of Emergency Management is monitoring Winter Storm Finn and the associated rainfall.

After speaking with municipal, County and State agencies, it is recommended residents take precautions NOW to preserve property. 

For any residents who reside in an area where evacuations have occurred in the past, it is suggested you self-evacuate at this time. Water levels are expected to exceed what we received during the December flood.

If you need evacuation and are unable to do so on your own, please call the Police Desk at 973-694-5533. Only call 9-1-1 if it is a life-threatening emergency.

Precautions should include securing property both inside and outside the home. High winds are expected. Please secure any outside furniture and prepare for power outages.

DO NOT CALL 9-1-1 OR THE POLICE FOR POWER OUTAGES. 

In the event you lose power, contact your service provider. Outages can be reported to JCP&L by calling 1-888-LIGHTS (1-888-544-4877) or visiting www.firstenergycorp.com and clicking on "Report Outage," or by texting "OUT" to 544487.

The Borough has a sandbag station in the Municipal building parking lot (near the field). LINCOLN PARK RESIDENTS ONLY.

DO NOT drive around barricades or through flooded roadways and DO NOT approach any downed wires. Report any hazardous conditions to Police headquarters at 973-694-5533. For life-threatening emergencies, dial 9-1-1.
